Honor a Hero with a Tribute Flag
Purchase a Walk of Heroes Tribute Flag to honor or remember a loved one who has served in the United States Armed Forces. Each flag will be proudly displayed along the greenway in downtown Troutman for the duration of the event, from Armed Forces Day (May 16, 2025) to Memorial Day (May 26, 2025), as part of a moving tribute to our military heroes.
Each flag will include a personalized tag listing:
- The hero’s name
- Their branch of service
- The sponsor’s name (person who purchased the flag)
At the conclusion of the event, you are invited to retrieve your flag following the Memorial Day Ceremony at Troutman ESC Park on May 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM. This flag serves as a lasting keepsake and a meaningful way to carry the tribute beyond the event.
Details:
- Flag will be displayed along the Walk of Heroes from May 16–26, 2025
- Dedicated in honor or memory of a U.S. military service member
- Each flag will include a personalized tag with the hero’s name, service branch, and sponsor
- Flags will be available for pickup after the Memorial Day Ceremony
- Proceeds support the continuation of this annual tribute
