Honoring Our Heroes

Join us on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Troutman ESC Park for a heartfelt Memorial Day Ceremony, marking the conclusion of the Walk of Heroes tribute. This solemn gathering is a time for the community to come together in remembrance and gratitude for the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.

The ceremony will feature:

Speakers from the Walk of Heroes Committee and the Town of Troutman
Presenters from the community sharing words of tribute
A live musical performance
Presentation of the colors
A 21-gun salute in honor of fallen service members
Food provided by the Police Dept

Know Before You Go

As you join us for the Memorial Day Ceremony please keep the following in mind:

Pet-Friendly Event – Well-behaved pets are welcome; however, please note that there will be a 21-gun salute as part of the ceremony. If your pet is sensitive to loud noises, we recommend leaving them at home for their comfort.

Bring Your Own Seating – Seating will not be provided for everyone in attendance, so we encourage guests to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to ensure a comfortable experience.
