A Community Tribute to Our Military Heroes

Now in its fourth year, the town of Troutman, NC, proudly hosts the Walk of Heroes—a powerful tribute to the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. This annual event transforms the greenway through downtown Troutman into a moving display of remembrance, with flags dedicated in honor or in memory of those who have selflessly served our nation.

Heritage Flags

We are excited to offer a new opportunity this year for you to display the flag you purchased in 2025! For a $20 donation to Walk of Heroes, you can have your flag flown again. To participate, your flag must be in like-new condition—free of fading, holes, tears, or any other signs of wear. If you’d like to reuse your flag from last year, simply bring it to one of the events listed here.

Please keep in mind that only flags purchased through Troutman Walk of Heroes in 2025 are eligible. We are unable to accept flags purchased prior to 2025 or any flags bought from stores or other organizations.
