A Walk of Remembrance & Gratitude

From Armed Forces Day (May 17, 2025) to Memorial Day (May 26, 2025), the greenway becomes a living tribute as flags wave in remembrance, gratitude, and respect. Each flag is purchased by members of the community, creating a meaningful and personal way to recognize the service and sacrifice of our military heroes.

Memorial Day Ceremony

To conclude the Walk of Heroes, we invite the community to gather for a Memorial Day Ceremony at Troutman ESC Park on May 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM. This solemn and meaningful event will serve as a time of reflection, remembrance, and gratitude for those who gave their all in service to our country.
